1. Mowing and Lawn Care:
• Regularly mow the grass around the church property to keep it looking neat and well-maintained.
• Edge and trim the lawn along sidewalks, driveways, and flower beds.
2. Planting and Gardening:
• Plant and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the church grounds.
• Seasonal planting of flowers, bulbs, and other plants that align with the church’s landscaping plan.
3. Weeding and Mulching:
• Regularly remove weeds from flower beds, sidewalks, and other areas to keep the grounds tidy.
• Apply mulch to garden beds to retain moisture, reduce weeds, and improve the soil’s health.
5. Pruning and Trimming:
• Prune trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and maintain a well-groomed appearance.
• Trim overgrown branches, bushes, and plants that may obstruct walkways or views.
6. Seasonal Clean-Up:
• Perform seasonal clean-up tasks, such as raking leaves in the fall, removing debris after storms, and clearing snow from walkways in the winter.
• Prepare the garden beds and grounds for winter by removing dead plants and protecting sensitive areas.
Requirements
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, digging, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
